Every bird should visit the an Avian Veterinarian yearly for a well check. Often when suspect your bird is sick, they have probably been sick for a while. Thats because birds instinctively hide their illnesses.
If you already have birds and plan to add a new bird to your flock, you should quarantine the new bird for four (4) weeks. This will help and illnesses your new bird may have from spreading to your flock.
All pet birds should be offered fresh vegetables and some fruits. A full seed diet is not healthy. There re many fresh foods not safe for your feathered friends.
